Maslyn Studios will only provide appraisals for sculpture by Joseph Brown. We apologize that we are not able to provide appraisals for other artist's sculptures.
The appraisal fee for each Joseph Brown sculpture is $195.00. For sculptures with a value of $5,000.00 or greater the appraisal fee will be waived. For sculptures with a value of less than $5,000.00, the fee is $195.00. This fee is subject to change. If in the event the fee changes you will be notified prior the written appraisal being processed.
To receive a written appraisal:
I. If you are purchasing a Joseph Brown sculpture with a value of $5,000.00 or greater and you want a written appraisal you will need to let us know at the time of purchase and it will be automatically be completed.
II. If you are purchasing a Joseph Brown sculpture with a value of less than $5,000.00 and you want a written appraisal you will need to let us know at the time of purchase and the fee will added to the total.
III. If you already own a Joseph Brown sculpture or sculptures and want an appraisal, you will need to send 4 photographs of each sculpture to be appraised showing the front, the back, the left side, the right side and signature if it has been signed in order to verify the sculpture is a Joseph Brown along with the applicable appraisal fee of $195.00 per sculpture. Please enclose a check made payable to Maslyn Studios for the full amount of $195.00 per sculpture. Once your payment has been received your written appraisal will be processed. The following information is required in order to ensure that the written appraisal is sent to the correct individual and address. Please include this information with your check:
